Samanta Ray performs genre-bending songs, ranging from classical arias through intelligent lounge to operahouse grooves. Blending soprano with varying ensemble collaborations including guitar, percussion, DJ’s, VJ's and performance art in various private spots, late venues and public spaces, with performances ranging from extravagant audiovisual show stopping treats that last as little as five minutes to tree hour sets.

a performance can involve dramatic costumes as well as unconventional locations and is able to be transformed into a ‘live’ visual clip where projections are layered over a space to paint sensory metaphors and enhance themes. utilising creativity to express a more serious underlying message satisfies both the bard and the healer in me i suppose!
